In South Dakota, we've done small jobs for $10,000 and we've done large jobs for over $125,000.  We know that each farmer has their budget and we respect that going into the job.  If we feel that they should be doing more than their budget allows, we break it up into phases...we do part of the land now and then in two, three or four years, they call us and we come back to do the next phase.  We're not here to sell you something, we're here to partner with you in your farming operation.  

Yes!  Paperwork and permits as well as underground locators need to be done in South Dakota prior to the job.  Some companies make the farmer handle all of those details but at G2 Drainage, we handle everything, not handing any of the stress to you!  All i's will be dotted and t's crossed before we ever pull onto your land with our equipment.

Drain tile prevents the roots from being under the water table during wet periods, which can stress the plants. By removing excess water, crops use the water that their roots have access to more effectively. An increase in crop yield can be summarized as forcing plants to develop more roots so that they can absorb more nutrients and water.

Drainage systems remove excess water that hampers soil warm-up in the spring.  Having consistent water table levels throughout the growing season will allow faster, more consistent plant growth for quicker harvest start-ups in the fall.  This is particularly important when using no-till or conservation tillage practices.  

After graduating from USF in Sioux Falls, South Dakota  with a Chemistry and Biology degree, I (Gregg Jensen), went to work for Prinsco in Beresford, South Dakota where they make drain tile.  I have first hand knowledge of their products and the quality and integrity that backs their drain tile.  I wouldn't use anything else!
